A Massachusetts political leader, organizer, and outspoken critic of British rule, he helped transform growing frustration with Parliament into an organized movement for American independence. Through his involvement with the Sons of Liberty, opposition to British taxation, and leadership in the revolutionary movement surrounding the Boston Tea Party, Adams earned a reputation as a man who knew how to make an empire uncomfortable.

He wasn't a battlefield commander, and he didn't need to be. Adams understood the power of organizing ordinary citizens, rallying public opinion, and refusing to let opposition to tyranny fade into complacency. His determination helped build the revolutionary momentum that ultimately carried the colonies toward independence.

Airborne Adams reimagines the revolutionary firebrand hanging off the wing of a World War II fighter aircraft, rifle in hand, providing some decidedly unconventional air support as the battle for American independence rages below. The aircraft is nearly two centuries ahead of schedule, the fighting position is spectacularly impractical, and the British are about to discover that colonial resistance has developed an unexpected advantage.

It's an intentionally over-the-top tribute to one of America's most influential revolutionary organizers—a man who helped turn dissatisfaction into defiance and who, in our version of history, has decided that a little close air support might speed things along.
