During the Civil War, his campaigns targeted the Confederate war effort's infrastructure, supplies, and ability to keep fighting. His March to the Sea became one of the conflict's most famous—and controversial—examples of hard war.

We figured we'd give him a few more tools for the job.

Scorched-Earth Sherman reimagines the Union general bringing his relentless approach to warfare into an entirely different technological era. The weapons may be fictional, but the reputation for getting the job done is firmly rooted in history.
